MIXING DIRECTIONS Enclosed is a cup that holds approximately 12 ounces of dry milk replacer powder. Always weigh powder for accurate mixing. Add 12 ounces (1 enclosed cup) of milk replacer powder to 2 quarts of warm water (110-115°F) and mix thoroughly. For large batches, mix 7.5 lbs. (10 full cups) of milk replacer powder to 5 gallons of warm water.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

Large breeds: Feed 2.3 quarts reconstituted milk replacer (100°F) twice daily.

Adjust amount fed based on calf body weight.

OFFER FRESH WATER AT ALL TIMES CALF CARE RECOMMENDATIONS

1)Feed large breed calves 4 quarts of high quality colostrum within 2 hours of birth and again 12 hours later. Adjust amounts for small breed calves. If colostrum quality or quantity is low, consider using a colostrum supplement or replacer.

2)Begin feeding milk replacer on day two. 3)Begin feeding calf starter free-choice in the first week.

Feed a small amount at first and replace daily.

4)Calves can be weaned from milk replacer successfully when intake of calf starter reaches 2 pounds daily for 3 consecutive days. 5)Environmental conditions may alter feeding rate.
